Dan Kindred – Supporting on farm research through ADOPT & BOFIN programmes

Dan has been instrumental in many farm research projects, perhaps the most well know being the Yield Enhancement Network or YEN during his days at ADAS.  He now helps bring people together to drive on farm research projects – aiming to get real world results under real world conditions.  There are various grant options out there that most of us may have heard of in passing but not realised the opportunities available for funding to test out that new idea you’ve had but aren’t willing to gamble on in the current climate.  His platform https://thearc.farm/ showcases some of the projects he is facilitating and the breadth of expertise that he can tap into.

Dan plans to outline some of the funding available and also some of the interesting projects already underway that farmers are involved with.  As usual there will be plenty of time for a healthy discussion with questions from the floor.
